Operational Excellence Award

CK Franchising, Inc. Congratulates Comfort Keepers Mid Ohio Valley, for the sixthyear in a row, for our dedication to exceptional service.

Local Comfort Keepers owner Joanie Yeomans recently accepted the Operational Excellence Award at the 2018 Comfort Keepers Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas. This was the 6th consecutive year that Comfort Keepers of the Mid-Ohio Valley has received this award from CK Franchising, Inc., franchisor of Comfort Keepers in-home senior care franchise network, for consistent delivery of exceptional service.

The award is granted to Comfort Keeper offices whose business demonstrate consistent delivery of exceptional service to clients, employees, and the community. Awardees were selected for compliance with stringent quality standards that resulted in overall client satisfaction for exemplary service and quality of care during the given time period. They are also rated on their level of community involvement. Only 18 offices out of the 607 franchises received the award this year.

“We pride ourselves by putting in the hard work to make life easier for our clients and their families,” Yeomans said. “What a great honor to be chosen again for this award, not only to be recognized by our franchisor and our clients, but to be well respected by those caregivers that dedicate their lives to our aging population – to be respected by our employees – that is what makes Comfort Keepers a great team. And of course, the community of the Mid-Ohio Valley has been extremely supportive and does value our service.”

Co-owner David Yeomans said that giving back to the community is an essential part of the business as well and that Comfort Keepers eagerly supports our community when needs arise such as the fight to end senior hunger.

“The Feed Seniors Now™ food drive, which was just completed, far surpassed its 2000 pound goal by collecting over 3,000 pounds of food for needy seniors in the area and demonstrates what a great impact caring people can have and how important it is for us to be involved in our local community.” he said.

Among the other organizations and causes Comfort Keepers participates in or supports are the annual Alzheimer Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s, FaithLink and Community Resources, Parkersburg Area Community Foundation, Mid-Ohio Valley Senior Expo and many local schools.

“Building relationships is an essential part of being a good citizen. It doesn’t matter if it’s a fundraiser or helping a family from far away to find support for an aging relative back home, we always try to help with resources or advice – our office staff and our field team is trained to provide great customer service, its what we do.” Yeomans said.
